Nb of Elements |
Spacings | Boom |
3 |
0.25 l + 0.2 l => 2.717 + 2.174 | 4.89 m |
4 |
0.2 l + 0.17 l + 0.15 l => 2.174 + 1.848 + 1.630 | 5.652 m |
5 |
0.17 l + 0.15 l + 0.13 l + 0.1 l => 1.848 + 1.630 + 1.413 + 1.087 | 5.978 m |
5 |
0.2 l + 0.15 l + 0.1 l + 0.1 l => 2.174 + 1.630 + 1.087 + 1.087 | 5.978 m |
Thus, according to the length of boom which one lays out, one can "juggle" between the various spacings (but always into decreasing of the reflectors towards the directors) according to the performances which one wishes to privilege.
If one wishes supports a good report/ratio before/back with the detriment of the profit, one will choose a number of more restricted element but with more significant spacings.
Conversely, if it is the profit which is required then with length of equal boom, an element moreover is more interesting than larger spacings.
If you have enough place to then use more than 6 m of boom you do not deprive, the performances will be only better.
To assemble two tubes, I advise you not "to bore" the two parts but rather to take them in "sandwich" with two aluminium plates as represented on the sight opposite.
